Mother's Day Gift Guide (all under $20!)
Mother's day is a little over a week away! Have you thought about how you want to spoil your mom? If I was in the same city as my mom or mother-in-law, I would love to spend time with them, such as take them out to get their nails done, go shopping, or maybe eat brunch together. But since they are both sooo far away in Texas, the best I can do is send her something I think she would love and obnoxiously Facetime her throughout the day.
Here are some of my Mother's Day picks for all under $20!
Anthropologie candle - sold out, I like these ($16) - Their candles always smell sooo good and come in the cutest packaging!
CND Vinylux #122 Lobster Roll Nail Polish Lacquer 0.5floz-(Seriously loooovveee these nail polishes! They last at least one week and sometimes longer. I do recommend purchasing the top coat, but for only $6, I think they are a steal! I definitely prefer them over Essie or OPI.)
CND Vinylux #135 Cake Pop Nail Polish Lacquer 0.5floz
Forever 21 Scarf ($6) - I never met a mom who didn't like a scarf. This one is very lightweight and perfect for spring!
Anthropologie Happ & Stahns Hand Cream ($18) -My mom always said the packaging is important. The boxes these little hand creams come in are too cute.
Anthropologie Jardin Des Plantes Cup & Saucer (18) -A perfect pairing with this gift would be her favorite tea or coffee/ <3
Rifle Paper Co Notepad ($9) -Mom can jot down her grocery list, ideas, notes or Bible Verses!
Necklaces - Target (old), I like this -A fun necklace is a perfect addition for mom's already stylish wardrobe.
Casual Weekend
This was my outfit of the day last Saturday, and I will probably be wearing something similar this weekend. Weekends to me = casual, comfy, and low-maintenance. This means sneaks, a basic tee, comfy jeans, a beanie or hat, and zero make up. Plus, you never know what adventures you may be having. In this outfit I ended up walking over 7 miles that day! It started as brunch with some girlfriends, meeting Kyle in Central Park, walking across from the west side to the east side, and then back up to Harlem for Fast and Furious 7 (this movie...in one word? EPIC!). I absolutely LOVE weekends in the city. They are full of possibilities, exploring new places, eating good food, and hopefully relaxing at a park as well. The weather this Saturday looks a lot like it was last weekend - sunny with a high of 75 - so I plan to be spending the majority of it outside!
