These gorgeous blooms were surrounding the edge of the back of Notre Dame. I still can't get over Paris' love for gardens filled with flowers everywhere! Take me back.

Leonardo da Vinci Rose | Paris, France
It’s hard to find the right words to describe our time in Paris. Almost a week later, and I’m still dreaming about it, wishing there was some way to pull it closer, to close the gap of ocean between Europe and New York City. But for now, I can only sort through the hundreds of photos and think back to how ridiculously happy we were while there. Here is a small glimpse from a flower shop we stumbled upon while on our way to Notre Dame. These are Leonardo da Vinci roses, and I think they might just be the most beautiful pink flowers I’ve ever seen.

Happy Friday and Happy Memorial Day weekend! Guys... We leave for Paris tomorrow! Aaahhh. I have been looking forward to this day since when we planned this back in January. Since we are renting an apartment rather than staying in hotel, I have a feeling we are not going to want to ever leave, since it will feel like we live there! I have been obsessed with Paris and French culture ever since my dad used to read the Madeline books to me as a little girl. I mean, how cute were those little girls and their uniforms, living in an old boarding school in Paris? Simply adorable. Meanwhile, I'll be dreaming of future buttery croissants, stinky cheeses, and fruity wines, all while I try to fit my entire life in a small carry-on. For now, let's just admire the flowers (taken in Central Park) below:
