A Study on Peonies

You know what it's like to love something that you have never actually seen? That was me with peonies. They have been my favorite flower since forever, but I have never actually seen them before until moving here. See, in Texas, these would not survive the heat, and if they do exist at flower shops they are rare and expensive. But in NYC, they thrive! I passed these at a corner bodega, bought them on the spot, and then carried them all the way home on the subway and just had to photograph them the next morning. I apologize in advance because there might be more peony photos in the future. : D
